More and more parking lot operators are relying on digital parking concepts and completely dispensing with barriers and paper tickets. But how can such a system replace conventional barrier systems?
Wemolo's free-flow concept is based on state-of-the-art license plate scanners that automatically capture the license plates of incoming and outgoing vehicles. This barrier-free and ticketless solution enables parking time to be calculated to the second and offers more flexible payment methods than analog parking systems.
The digital system makes the parking process more convenient for users: there are no more lost tickets and no waiting times due to queues at entrances and exits. This is how Free-Flow works:
1. driving in - license plate recognition
When the vehicle enters, its license plate number is automatically recorded and given a digital time stamp. A screen confirms the registration and informs users that they are logged in - without barriers and without stress.
2. flexible payment
Parking fees can be paid either directly on site or online within 24 hours. On site, payment is made conveniently at the modern pay machine by entering the license plate number. Alternatively, users can go to pay.wemolo.de without registering - when and where it suits them.
3rd exit - second detection
When you leave, the license plate is scanned again. The screen shows whether the charges have been paid or whether an additional payment is required. This keeps the payment process clear and traceable.
4. tracking of unpaid parking transactions
If a payment is not made, this is recognized by the system. The parking fee due is invoiced with the help of a holder data query. This ensures that your parking space is managed fairly and efficiently.
