Initial situation: Complex requirements and high external use
Raiffeisen had difficulties managing parking spaces effectively at several locations. Third-party parkers often blocked the spaces intended for customers, which led to bottlenecks and complaints. The situation was further complicated by complex ownership structures and manual management of parking authorizations. A test pilot in collaboration with Wemolo was intended to provide initial empirical values on the efficiency of a digital solution and pave the way for comprehensive optimization.

With Wemolo, it was possible to implement an innovative solution that is perfectly tailored to the needs of Raiffeisen Bank:
Camera-based parking space monitoring
State-of-the-art license plate scanners have been installed at all pilot locations. These automatically record the vehicles entering and exiting and calculate the parking time. If parkers exceed the applicable maximum parking time, Wemolo's receivables management system is activated. Already in the second month after commissioning, third-party use was reduced by 60%.
User-friendly parking management
An intuitive customer portal allows employees to register their vehicles themselves, while service providers receive temporary parking authorizations via QR codes. This flexibility ensures minimum administrative effort and maximum efficiency.
Data analysis and real-time dashboard
A central component of the solution is the dashboard, which provides real-time data on parking space usage, including peak times, occupancy and customer dwell time. These analyses form the basis for data-based decisions, such as optimizing parking space capacities or improving the customer experience.

The hardware required for parking space management remains the property of Wemolo GmbH for the duration of the contract and is therefore not purchased by you. Wemolo is responsible for the reliable operation of the hardware.
Wemolo can find a solution for almost any parking space. In a non-binding consultation, we will be happy to show you what needs to be considered in your parking area. In principle, clearly recognizable entrances and exits, a power connection (230V) and good data reception (LTE/5G) are advantageous.
The license plate scanners are installed near the driveway. The exact position varies from location to location. Our license plate scanners have a range of up to 100m and can scan a width of approx. 12m. They can therefore be mounted on facades, lamp posts or roofs.
Third-party and long-term parkers who park their vehicles without authorization are detected by our system and automatically receive a penalty notice.
General terms and conditions and information signs are installed in every parking space to draw attention to the fact that this is a customer parking space with a corresponding maximum parking time. The corresponding contractual penalty for non-compliance is also clearly visible. In paid parking areas, these signs are supplemented by others that explain the parking process using the digital system. The signs are large and clearly visible at the entrances and exits and in the parking area. Vehicle owners agree to the T&Cs by driving into the parking lot.
Our digital parking space surveillance uses electronic means to monitor your parking spaces. Cameras use AI-based software to reliably record the license plates of all vehicles - without the need for a barrier.
