At Getränke Hoffmann locations, the problem was that the parking spaces were encumbered by third-party use, which meant that many potential customers were unable to find parking. What was originally intended as a solution to this challenge developed into a decisive digital advance thanks to the collaboration with Wemolo.
Getränke Hoffmann has been in an intensive phase of digitalizing its processes for years and is pursuing ambitious expansion plans. Before the first test with Wemolo in 2020, the parking lot was a black box. Despite initial skepticism, Wemolo impressed during the test phase and became a premium partner.
Parking space control: With Wemolo, camera-based parking space control has been introduced in many Getränke Hoffmann parking lots to monitor parking times in order to keep Getränke Hoffmann parking spaces free for customers. This means that customers no longer have to insert a parking disk and there are no ticket inspectors - customers are recorded by license plate scanners when entering and leaving the car park and the parking time is measured automatically. Following the introduction of Wemolo technology, the average frequency of visitors to the locations has increased. Getränke Hoffmann employees can be managed easily and digitally via the Wemolo customer portal.
Data analysis: By digitizing the parking lots with Wemolo, detailed data such as the number of parking spaces, visitor frequencies, length of stay and return rates are now recorded. This information is of great value as it significantly improves the management of sales and strategic decisions and enables future targeted marketing measures and more precise planning.
Rental of free parking spaces: In addition, a flexible rental system for free parking spaces has been introduced, based on the individual needs of the surrounding area. Both short-term and long-term rentals are possible, with residents, businesses and commuters being the typical tenants. This system not only relieves public parking pressure, but also generates additional income for Getränke Hoffmann through symbolic charges. In the long term, the system opens up potential for new sales strategies and greater customer loyalty, which is planned for the future.
Getränke Hoffmann has been working successfully with Wemolo since 2020 and uses Wemolo technology at over 100 locations, and the trend is rising. Both centrally operated branches and partner locations throughout Germany benefit from the collaboration.

The hardware required for parking space management remains the property of Wemolo GmbH for the duration of the contract and is therefore not purchased by you. Wemolo is responsible for the reliable operation of the hardware.
Wemolo can find a solution for almost any parking space. In a non-binding consultation, we will be happy to show you what needs to be considered in your parking area. In principle, clearly recognizable entrances and exits, a power connection (230V) and good data reception (LTE/5G) are advantageous.
The license plate scanners are installed near the driveway. The exact position varies from location to location. Our license plate scanners have a range of up to 100m and can scan a width of approx. 12m. They can therefore be mounted on facades, lamp posts or roofs.
Third-party and long-term parkers who park their vehicles without authorization are detected by our system and automatically receive a penalty notice.
General terms and conditions and information signs are installed in every parking space to draw attention to the fact that this is a customer parking space with a corresponding maximum parking time. The corresponding contractual penalty for non-compliance is also clearly visible. In paid parking areas, these signs are supplemented by others that explain the parking process using the digital system. The signs are large and clearly visible at the entrances and exits and in the parking area. Vehicle owners agree to the T&Cs by driving into the parking lot.
Our digital parking space surveillance uses electronic means to monitor your parking spaces. Cameras use AI-based software to reliably record the license plates of all vehicles - without the need for a barrier.
The use of digital systems makes it possible to optimize parking times. The use of parking spaces is made efficient with the help of parking time limits and long parking times are avoided. The parking time limitation takes place in consultation with your individual needs at your location.
